The Cat Show by Annie Share, Directed by Sivan Spector
Supported by Redtwist Theatre’s Independent Artists Initiative, Sivan Spector will direct the short-run world premiere of Annie Share’s newest work: The Cat Show. The Cat Show tells the story of a mother and her grown daughter over the course of one day working a cat show—something they’ve done hundreds of times, but not in the last couple of decades of semi-estrangement. As the show goes on, our anti-heroes’ world grows more strange and surreal, visited by other sellers at the cat show, the MC, and perhaps some cats.
